With their turbulent past firmly behind them, Belinda and her daughters are ready to live happily ever after. But before long new threats emerge and things spiral out of control as Belinda fights like hell to keep her teenagers on the straight and narrow. The tighter she pulls the reins the harder they rebel until secrecy, addiction, and wounds from the past send the Morrow girls hurling down unexpected paths.
This is a deep novel. It really delves into multiple serious issues and the author handles telling the stories of all 4 girls effortlessly. I loved that it was a blended novel about multiple characters.
I enjoyed the pacing and plot as a whole. The writing style was very easy to follow.
This is a second in a novel and having not read the first, I didn't know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised with how I kept up. I do want to read the first novel now to see what tidbits I can add to the information I gathered from Blue Sky.D.
