Ilana shows how focusing on values such as understanding, empathy, compassion, tolerance, kindness, creativity, and acceptance can help us find our inner calm.

Packed with inspiring messages and real-life vignettes, Ilana’s book shows how spirituality can help us navigate even the roughest waters.

Ilana’s book can help to:

•Improve emotional balance and wellness

•Boost confidence and self-esteem

•Stay self-aware, grounded and patient

•Appreciate life and each other

•Accept changing circumstances

•Enhance positive emotions and personal healing

•Change the way you perceive and think about your life

About the Author

Ilana was born with a disability she didn't know she had until the age of 46, when through her medical notes she discovered she had been diagnosed with cerebral palsy at the age of 2.

That discovery turned out to be a unique and life-changing experienced that has forced her to stand back and look at her life experiences differently. On her late diagnosis, she set up her website The CP Diary and now uses her experiences to explore her emotional and physical health, with inspiring messages advocating resilience and change.

Ilana likes to spend her days writing and blogging about anything that contributes to her health and wellbeing. Ilana is an animal advocate and is passionate about environmental issues. When she is not writing, or tending to her blog, she enjoys days out exploring the Yorkshire countryside.

Ilana lives with her husband, in Yorkshire. Her grown-up son and daughter both live in London.

He’s not alone. Ridgewood Roar news editor, Anthony Ravello, and the rogue, indie-press pioneer, Liberty Lennon, plan to do some journalistic digging of their own in a race against each other to scoop the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth to their faithful readers…or at least their versions of it. Publisher: Mamiir Chol Foundation

photo add-to-goodreads-button_zpsc7b3c634.png

As a member of the Lost Boys of South Sudan, author Paulino Mamiir Chol offers the gripping account of his transformation from a kidnapping survivor to a leader— Mr. Chol led over 700 boys across three African countries.

Paulino Mamiir Chol was abducted from his family, in the Twic County of Warrap state. Over the course of seventeen harrowing years, he survived Ethiopian and Kenyan refugee camps, and eventually made it to Denver, Colorado, in the United States of America, where he now pursues a PhD.

In detailing the journeys of the Lost Boys, as well as the murderous actions of the Murahalin Militia before and after the Second Sudanese Civil War, Mr. Chol paints a vivid picture of one of modern history’s most horrific human rights abuses. In so doing, he also offers hope in the power of the human spirit to overcome trauma and tragedy—especially when we focus on serving others.

Leading The Lost Boys: The Untold Journey is part of Paulino Mamiir Chol’s effort to fight the inhuman darkness we are all capable of, and to empower and inspire the hearts of those suffering.

All proceeds will go to the Mamiir Chol Foundation (MACH), which will provide funds to villagers in Twic County for clean drinking wells, clinics, schools, and community centers. Proceeds will also support organizations working for human rights, homeless children, widowed mothers, disabled people, and to protect women and girls from sexual abuse, exploitation and gender-based violence.

Victory can only come by letting go

It is with a life centered on our Lord that we can be Healed through the Power of Love. Amidst the trials, tribulations, and storms we experience with family, relationships, and friends, the Lord guides us if we surrender to His will, His purpose, and His plan for our lives.

Yasmin is estranged from her family and has a secret she has vowed to never reveal. With her heart scarred and filled with remorse and fear, she finds trusting, letting go, forgiving, and accepting the Lord's will a challenge. Orlando's life is mundane until Yasmin returns. His goal becomes helping Yasmin, convincing her to love and be loved, showing her how to be happy, and persuading her to overlook her past. Neither Yasmin nor Orlando can obtain victory without letting the Lord take control of their lives.

Review
This one had it all: sentimental parts, faith-based parts, great characters who I cared about, and a storyline that just flowed so naturally.

I loved that while there are issues along the way, some ups and downs, it's not too down in the dumps, it's more inspirational and beautiful to read.

Christian devotionals, Christian Bible studies

Publisher: Clay Bridges Press

photo add-to-goodreads-button_zpsc7b3c634.png

Life today is scary, complicated, and hard to get right. So much conflicting information is at our fingertips, and society shows the results of everyone choosing their own version of "good."

This year-long daily devotional doesn't just talk about God; it takes us directly to God and His inspired words in the Bible. Many think the Bible is archaic and out of touch with life today. But you will discover in these devotionals that the Bible is a great read, full of real people in real time navigating real situations.

The Bible uncovers God's heart for us. He has given us tools and strength for our lives today. The Bible reveals God's patience and perspective. Most importantly, it leads us to Jesus, God's Son, and the plan that reconciled broken, imperfect people to God. Because Jesus paid the penalty for our wrong choices, we can live confidently-loved, empowered, and forgiven by God. Life today is scary, complicated, and hard to get right. So much conflicting information is at our fingertips, and society shows the results of everyone choosing their own version of "good."

REVIEW
I found this to be full of so much wonderful information, inspiration, and Christian themes. It's a great and easy to follow daily devotional that is easy to implement into your everyday life.

Nonfiction Health Feature: The Way of the Tracker by Carrie Jost @CreativeKAssoc #promo #excerpt #comingsoon #health #nonfiction #selfhelp #rabtbooktours @RABTBookTours @AuthorParul

Releasing April 2022

photo add-to-goodreads-button_zpsc7b3c634.png

This book takes you on an adventure of personal development through the detective work of Creative Kinesiology.  Muscle testing gives us the powerful tool we need to delve into any problem. It allows the body to show us what is going on physically, emotionally and in our feelings, with the mind and the spiritual self. Using maps of the body, subtle energies and clues to the problem gives the tracker the direction of healing.  Working creatively with the person and their intent for healing gives us all we need for healing and inner work to begin and continue. We look at the way the latest discoveries from the scientific world add new perspectives on the way the body systems work – or don’t.  Plumbing the depths of our being takes us to the reasons for our stress and anxiety – the traumas, large and small that can create problems in any part of us, including the digestive system, the brain and the nervous system. We may have lost our ability to look forward and reach for our visions and dreams. Help is there for us; in the exercises and techniques we can use for ourselves; some are introduced in the book.  Increasing our awareness of the body’s messages can give us the healing impetus to help ourselves and can take us to practitioners, both in the natural health world and in the medical profession.

Discover this gentle and powerful approach to healing and health for yourself as you read the book – a healing journey in itself.

Excerpt from the Book

We all have at least 42 muscles that we can test when we are gathering information in a Creative ~Kinesiology session.  Each muscle test gives us masses of data. We can also use an indicator muscle to glean additional information.  Muscle testing responds to thoughts, memories and information with a binary Yes/No response.  Given that every part of us is connected to every other part, we can choose any muscle to do this for us.

The indicator muscle can be any muscle in the body.  The body simply has to decide that this particular muscle can do the job of indicating a positive or negative to us, a Yes or a No, as such an agreement or a disagreement. Once we have this decision, we can make statements and discover whether the body responds with a Yes or No to them. When touching a painful area, we can check the indicator muscle and see if the body says Yes, it’s okay.  Or, when we monitor our indicator we find a No, it’s not okay, and the muscle unlocks. This way of working gives us a response we call switched-on, where the muscle holds its position or a switched-off response, where the muscle cannot hold in place. This is the simplicity and the complexity of muscle testing. It is both the science and the art of this approach, which when used with expertise is the brilliant tool we use in kinesiology.
