Review

The plot flowed nicely and the mystery kept me guessing and flipping pages. Overall a great mystery. 

What a clever story with a wonderful balance of mystery and suspense.

Jennifer Chase has created a novel in which the main character shows growth. For me that is always something I look for in my favorite main characters. I liked flawed characters and if they can overcome things, it really speaks to me.

This was a quick read for me. I felt like the words and plot just flowed long effortlessly. I found myself flipping page after page, laughing, and guessing the whole time.

In the town of Lost Hope, Florida reside two heroes unlike any others. These champions of justice go by the names of Snafu Fubar and General Nuisance. Nightly they patrol their fine city to protect it from evil's grasp. And by 'patrol' we mean they sit on a porch, appropriately nicknamed 'The Fucking Nuisance Cave', drinking beers, smoking cigars, and talking about sex.

Review

This book is completely and totally out there. It is nothing of the norm of reading and I think that is what makes it so much fun and so great! Half of the time I found myself laughing out loud at just the sheer ridiculous of it, but in a good way. It's a great testament to friendship and finding the person/people who fit best with you. They are definitely quite the pair! I loved the theme of the story and how they made mysteries and situations out of their own surroundings.
