REVIEW

This is a real-life account of someone who came to America with nothing and whose determination and grit allowed him to persevere.

We have people who are set up for success who never accomplish half of what Tony Assali did and thinking about that really puts it into perspective for me.

Assali really lays everything out for the reader. He opens up about the ups and downs and the flow of the writing is very well done.

Tony Assali is the president of a well-established escrow company in California and new author of his autobiography, Catch the White Tiger, where he tells his story about growing up in Beirut, establishing life in America, and discovering the keys to success. The debut author has been married for 25 years. He has 4 children, 11 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. On his time off, he enjoys drinking wine, dirt bike riding, board games, and he is a coffee connoisseur. He is blessed to have the Lord in his life, and he thanks Him daily and pays it forward as a born again Christian.

Review

This series has grabbed my heart. The couple's and families' interaction was totally awesome.

Action/adventure? Yes, lots! Romance? Yep, it has that too!

They had such a feel-good factor that I was absorbed from the start!

The only downside for me is it's hard to track since there are quite a few characters and they bounce around through time. Having said that, I quite enjoyed all of the books.

Chris Karlsen is a retired police detective. She spent twenty-five years in law enforcement with two different agencies. The daughter of a history professor and a voracious reader, she grew up with a love of history and books.

An internationally published author, Chris has traveled extensively throughout Europe, the Near East, and North Africa satisfying her need to visit the places she read about. Having spent a great deal of time in England and Turkey, she has used her love of both places as settings for her books.
